Position Overview Position Title Assistant Manager - Actuarial Department Group Pricing and Quotation Level/ Band Assistant Manager / 301 Role Summary :

Support the Group Pricing team in designing, pricing, and monitoring profitability of group insurance products (Group Term Life, Group Credit Life, Affinity etc. ), ensuring competitive and sustainable pricing aligned with business and regulatory requirements

Appointed Actuary (AA), Sales, Operations, Marketing, Legal & Compliance

Stakeholders External IRDAI, Reinsurers Key Result Areas - Prepare and validate pricing quotes for new group business proposals and renewals within defined TAT - Support development and periodic review of pricing models for group products - Analyze mortality/morbidity experience, claims trends, and persistency data to support pricing assumptions - Assist in preparing case-specific terms for large/complex group schemes in coordination with underwriting and sales teams - Profitability analysis (loss ratios, expense ratios) for existing group portfolios - Ensure pricing processes comply with IRDAI regulations and internal risk/underwriting guidelines - Coordinate with Sales, Underwriting, Reinsurance, and other teams for smooth quote-to-policy issuance process - Maintain and update pricing tools, templates, and MIS/dashboards - Working on reinsurance treaty/addendum - Ensure documentation and audit trail for pricing decisions Skills Required Technical Strong Excel (advanced formulas, macros), SQL/VBA preferred; exposure to pricing/actuarial software (Prophet or similar) is an added advantage Behavioral Essential Desired Interpersonal skills
