About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Accounts with 5+ years of experience, preferably in the real estate industry. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, audit coordination, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely accounting entries.

Handle GST compliance, including preparation, reconciliation and timely filing of GST returns.

Manage TDS calculations, deductions, reconciliation and timely filing of TDS returns.

Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and resolve discrepancies on a regular basis.

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, including vendor/customer ledger reconciliation.

Assist in statutory, internal and financial audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, ledgers and supporting documents.

Ensure proper accounting of project-related expenses, vendor bills and other transactions.

Coordinate with vendors, consultants, project teams and other departments for accounting-related matters.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities and preparation of MIS reports.

Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.

5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts, preferably with a real estate developer.

Good knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting and statutory compliance.

Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliation.

Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and SAP.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting processes.

Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple activities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in real estate/project accounting will be preferred, with an understanding of project-related expenses, vendor accounting, customer collections and statutory compliances.
