Assistant General Manager - Business Application - SAP SD/MM

As an AGM for Sales and Distribution and Materials Management (SD/MM) solutions within our Beauty Tech team, you will be the strategic bridge between our business teams and technology. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will lead the evolution of our business applications landscape, ensuring it is robust, compliant, and ready for the future. You will drive critical transformation projects, from SAP ECC to S/4HANA implementations and the deployment of best-in-class SaaS solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Strategic business partnership: Act as the primary liaison for Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, and related teams, translating business needs into scalable, sustainable IT solutions.

- Program leadership: Lead end-to-end business transformation projects, from planning and risk mitigation through execution and post-launch support.

- Solution governance: Oversee the design and deployment of solutions, with a strong focus on SAP SD and MM across SAP ECC and S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with global standards and local Indian statutory requirements.

- Stakeholder and vendor management: Direct external IT partners and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, operational readiness, and effective change management.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Significant IT experience, with a strong focus on SAP SD/MM implementations, business analysis, and project management in the CPG or retail sectors.

- Business partnership and relationship management: Ability to act as a trusted advisor, translating business objectives into robust technical solutions.

- IT project and program management: Experience leading complex business transformation projects and system rollouts from conception to completion.

- SAP expertise (SD/MM, SAP ECC, S/4HANA): Deep knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution and Materials Management, with experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA transformations.

- Stakeholder and vendor management: Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage external partners to ensure quality and budget adherence.

- A relevant degree in Technology or Business; an MBA or PMP certification is a plus.
