Duties & Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of MS SQL for database analysis and MIS reporting.

• Good knowledge of web server installation, configuration and basic administration.

• Coordinate with the Software Development Team for resolving client problems.

• Obtain a clear understanding of the problem being reported and request appropriate supporting information to continue investigation.

• Basic knowledge of TeamViewer, AnyDesk and similar remote support tools.

• Basic knowledge of hardware and networking troubleshooting.

• Basic understanding of firewall, antivirus/security software, routers, Wi Fi and internet connectivity.

• Acknowledge customer requests and handle them expeditiously and professionally.

• Proactively communicate and accurately set customer expectations.

• Accept incoming support requests through phone and email channels.

• Monitor KARCO training onboard vessels and implement compliance of KARCO software services.

• Assist in marine training programs and provide support to global customers.

• Provide guidelines to onboard crew regarding how to perform and carry out training in the KARCO Learning Management System.

• Answer customer queries related to the marine domain in the KARCO Learning Management System.

• Assist the Support Team in interpreting domain related terms.

• Provide customer support over email.

Technical Knowledge & Requirements

• Basic experience with ASP.Net MVC 5, C#, ASP.Net and .NET Framework 3.5 and above.

• Experience in MS SQL Server database environment.

• Experience in deploying .NET applications on Web Servers using IIS.

• Experience with MS Windows Operating System.

• Overall technical knowledge and ability to perform basic troubleshooting across application, system, hardware and network related issues.

• Proficiency in English communication is a must.

Experience

• 2 to 6 years of experience.

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in support of both desktop and web based DotNet applications with SQL Server Database.

• Experience in customer support, customer care, SaaS or application based products can apply.

• Marine IT background or experience will be an added advantage.

• Experience in team handling will be an advantage for candidates with 3 years of experience or more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications or similar technical discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.

• Any Graduate in Any Specialization.
