Analyst - M&A/Financial Analysis - BFSI

Job Description: M&A Analyst

Location: India (Remote/Hybrid)

Reporting To: Business Owner

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented M&A Analyst to support investment bankers, private equity firms, M&A brokers, and boutique advisory firms across the deal lifecycle, from origination and valuation to due diligence and closing. The role involves financial analysis, market research, deal execution, and AI-enabled workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct industry research, market sizing, buyer/seller mapping, and precedent transaction analysis.

- Maintain CRM systems, deal databases, lead records, and pipeline reports.

- Support outreach through lead qualification, call lists, messaging templates, and follow-ups.

- Prepare Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), teasers, and client-ready PowerPoint presentations.

- Analyze financial statements, normalize EBITDA, document add-backs, and calculate valuation multiples such as EV/EBITDA and P/E.

- Support virtual data room management, due diligence tracking, NDAs, and IOI/LOI milestones.

- Leverage AI tools for research, data normalization, and document preparation while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
