AI Application Engineer

What We Expect:

The AI Application Developer is the primary builder for each project. They take requirements end-to-end - from understanding the functional need, through application design, to delivering a working solution. They work directly with our internal IT team, who act as the bridge between the business and the offshore team.

The developer s core skill is the ability to interpret requirements and translate them into precise, well-structured Claude prompts that produce high-quality, complete application code across all layers - backend, frontend, and AI services. The quality of what gets built depends directly on the quality of their prompting and analytical thinking.

Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of software development experience. Demonstrable experience building applications using Claude or equivalent AI coding assistants in a production context is essential. Candidates who have built full solutions primarily through AI-assisted development will be preferred.

The JD states that all development at Aujan is built with Claude as the primary tool, and that profiles without demonstrable hands-on use of Claude to build full solutions will not be considered.
