AGM / DGM - Melting Head

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of furnace operations, including charging, melting, and pouring processes.
  
• Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of foundry equipment such as arc furnaces, shot blasting machines, and mechanical metallurgy systems.
  
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity and quality.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to metal processing and quality control.
  
• Develop and maintain documentation for process procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance schedules.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 14-17 years of experience in foundry operations or a related field (metallurgy).
  
• Diploma/ITI degree in relevant trade (foundry operation) or equivalent qualification.
  
• Strong understanding of chemical processing techniques used in foundries; knowledge of mechanics an advantage.
  
• Familiarity with industry standards for safety regulations; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
