Role Description The Admission Counselor will guide prospective students and families through the college search and application process, helping them understand programs, eligibility, fees, and admission requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations (in-person and via phone or digital channels), responding to inquiries, providing clear and accurate information, and assisting in matching learners with suitable institutions and courses. The role also involves maintaining records of interactions, following up with leads, supporting outreach and information sessions, and collaborating with the team to improve counseling processes and resources. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, requiring consistent presence at the office and occasional participation in events or workshops.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with diverse learners and families.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-focused support to prospective applicants.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage inquiries, convert leads, and meet enrollment or outreach targets ethically and transparently.
• Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, especially in higher education systems, admission processes, and career pathways.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with basic computer tools and CRM systems, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred; prior experience in counseling, admissions, or education services is an advantage.
