About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Admission Counselor to guide working professionals in choosing the right upGrad programs based on their career goals and professional experience. Must be fluent in Kannada (spoken and written).

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with working professionals through calls and other communication channels to understand their career and learning requirements.
• Counsel prospective learners about upGrads programs, courses, eligibility, and career benefits.
• Follow up with leads and convert prospective learners into enrolled students.
• Achieve assigned monthly admission and revenue targets.
• Maintain regular follow-ups and build strong relationships with prospective learners.
• Handle queries and objections related to programs, fees, eligibility, and career outcomes.
• Maintain accurate lead and conversion records in the CRM.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and enrollment process.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Inside Sales, EdTech Sales, Admission Counseling, Telesales, or Business Development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
• Comfortable working with sales targets and performance metrics.
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable learning programs.
• Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.
• Candidates from EdTech, Education, BFSI, Telecom, or other sales-driven industries are preferred.
• Must be fluent in Kannada (spoken and written).
