- Job Title: Accounting Support | Business Process Solution | Finance & Accounting
- Location: Pan India (must be open to travel to Abu Dhabi)
The Team:
Business Process Solutions helps businesses manage their essential operational finance, HR, payroll & industry processes by leveraging experienced professionals who provide advice and practical support through a mix of outsourcing, contract personnel, co-sourcing, and project-related services.
Your Work Profile:
- Trading and Accounting System Reconciliations: Assist with clearing legacy reconciliation differences between our trading and accounting systems, support monthly reconciliations, analyze break reports, identify root causes of discrepancies, support month-end/quarter-end closing activities, and prepare/post journal entries.
- Reporting and Analysis: Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple systems, prepare reconciliation reports, management summaries, data validation checks, and support ad hoc analyses.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with IT, Operations, Risk, and Finance teams to investigate and resolve issues; communicate complex reconciliation and accounting matters clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to enhance reconciliation processes and controls, support automation using advanced Excel and AI-enabled tools, and contribute to SOP documentation.
Key Skills Required:
- 3-7 years of accounting, finance, commodity trading operations, or reconciliation experience.
- Strong reconciliation experience between trading systems and accounting systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, macros, VBA) and AI tools for data analysis.
- Practical experience using SAP, SAP Finance (FI) modules, data extraction, and journal posting.
- Understanding of physical oil trading lifecycle, trade capture, scheduling, operations, invoicing, and settlement processes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
