Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in the Mohali district in India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. The role involves supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and management reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls. The Accountant will collaborate with finance and operations teams, support audits, monitor accounts receivable and payable, and help identify process improvements that support Scale Healthcare's revenue cycle and multisite service model.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entry preparation, bank and account reconciliations, and financial statement support.
• Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis and reporting, such as variance analysis, budgeting support, and preparation of management reports for decision-making.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and office tools, including ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), and advanced Excel skills.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements applicable in India, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with finance, operations, and leadership teams and support internal and external audits.
• Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce are required; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent in progress or completed) are an advantage.
• Experience in healthcare, revenue cycle management, or multisite service organizations is beneficial, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
