Accountant

Bandhan Pipes is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally/ERP, GST, TDS, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and accounts payable/receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Handle sales and purchase entries, invoices, credit/debit notes, receipts and payments.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and verify GST-related records, returns and reconciliations.
• Handle TDS entries, calculations and related documentation.
• Perform regular bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain customer, dealer and supplier ledgers.
• Follow up and maintain records of outstanding receivables and payables.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of accounting reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, customers and suppliers when required.
• Support management with accounting reports and financial data.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting activities.
• Handle other finance and accounting responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Tally.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting.
• Experience in bank and ledger reconciliation.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential financial information.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing, trading or industrial company will be preferred.
• Candidates with practical knowledge of GST, TDS and Tally will be given preference.
