2D animator & Motion Graphics Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a 2D Animator & Motion Graphics Designer based in Ranchi. The role involves designing and animating educational videos, interactive content, and visual assets that explain complex STEM and technology concepts in an engaging and accessible way. The person in this role will create storyboards, character animations, and motion graphics for lessons, marketing campaigns, social media, and training materials. Daily tasks include collaborating with curriculum designers, subject matter experts, and marketing teams, refining animations based on feedback, and ensuring visual content aligns with brand guidelines and pedagogical objectives. The role also requires maintaining organized project files, meeting production timelines, and contributing creative ideas to enhance learner engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in 2D animation and motion graphics using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar software).
• Experience with storyboarding, character design, visual storytelling, and creating explainer videos or educational animations.
• Ability to design assets optimized for digital platforms, including video, social media, e-learning modules, and presentations.
• Comfort collaborating with educators, designers, and technical teams, with strong communication and feedback-handling skills.
• Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Animation, Design, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in EdTech, education, or creating content for children or young learners is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of AI, robotics, coding, or STEM concepts, or willingness to learn and adapt content to these domains.
