Zscaler L1 Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1) Monitor Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) & Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) dashboards for alerts
2) Triage alerts using Zscaler logs & tags
3) Validate false positives and escalate confirmed incidents
4) Maintain shift-based 247 monitoring of Zscaler events
5) Perform initial investigation of anomalies (URL categories, firewall actions, bandwidth spikes)
6) Document incidents in ticketing tool with Zscaler context
7) Collaborate with networking team for policy clarification
8) Update and tune Zscaler policies under guidance
9) Generate daily summary reports of Zscaler events
10) Assist in user access troubleshooting (ZPA)
