Zonal Service Specialist South

Role Summary

The Zonal Service Specialist will support BPLs Anesthesia business by ensuring a dependable service experience for customers across the assigned regions

Key Responsibilities

Service and Complaint Resolution: Resolve major breakdowns, critical and recurring complaints involving anaesthesia workstations, patient monitors, syringe and infusion pumps. Provide on-site and phone support to field engineers.

Repairs and Escalations: Repair factory and field anaesthesia workstations, arrange urgent or pending spares, and coordinate complex issues with suppliers. Assess adverse customer-site situations and escalate to Service and Technical Support Heads for corrective and preventive action.

Customer Support: Address equipment usage and technical queries and conduct courtesy calls or visits to referral and key customers.

Preventive Maintenance and Calibration: Ensure 100% timely completion of scheduled preventive maintenance, support field engineers with anaesthesia workstation calibration, and maintain maintenance reports.

Training and Hospital Support: Train field and dealer engineers on servicing, troubleshooting and calibration. Provide technical support for the first clinical case or trial at corporate hospitals following sales demonstrations.

Service Business: Help achieve zonal and individual targets for spares, service contracts, and accessories; pursue AMC renewals and new contracts; and identify opportunities to supply accessories and consumables to government customers.

MIS and Repair Tracking: Maintain updated zonal AMC records, track pending anaesthesia workstation work at customer sites and branches across India as required, follow up on OEM and central workshop repairs until closure, and retain soft and hard copies of South Zone maintenance reports.
