About this role
Group Life Insurance Sales (NBFC Channel):
To drive group life (credit life) insurance sales through NBFC partners, build strong distribution relationships, and achieve business targets by increasing product penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
- Source NBFC partnerships/ tie-ups in West region
- NBFC farming in West India for group life insurance business
- Develop a pipeline on prospective NBFC partners to expand distribution network
- Drive group life insurance sales through NBFC partnerships
- Achieve premium, revenue, and penetration targets for West India
2. Partner Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with NBFC partners
- Drive engagement activities and campaigns to boost sales
3. Training & Activation:
- Train NBFC sales teams on group insurance products and processes
- Improve attachment ratio / penetration levels
4. Sales Monitoring, Execution & Operations:
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation - conversion - policy issuance
- Coordinate with internal teams group operations, pricing, etc.
- Ensure smooth operations and quick resolution of partner issues
- Performance monitoring and MIS reports
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and company policies
5. Market Intelligence:
- Gather information on current market practices in group life insurance: offerings in terms of rates/brokerages etc.
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer needs
- Provide feedback to improve product offerings and sales strategy
