About this role
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design thumbnails for YouTube videos across tech, business and pop culture content
- Turn a video's idea or hook into a clear, eye-catching thumbnail that drives clicks
- Create multiple thumbnail options for the same video when needed
- Work with our editors, writers and producers, take feedback and turn revisions around on time
This is a freelance role on a project-by-project basis.
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience designing thumbnails for YouTube channels
- A portfolio of thumbnail work (required)
- Strong skills in Photoshop or similar design tools
- A good sense of composition, typography and what makes viewers click
- Clear communication and ownership of your deadlines
- Bonus: experience with tech, business or pop culture channels
