YouTube Scriptwriter

Role

We need a senior storyteller who can find the story, not just write the script. You will develop YouTube videos for career, employment, AI, leadership, hiring and workplace topics.

Responsibilities

• Suggest and shortlist video topics based on audience needs and current developments.
• Research multiple credible sources and identify the strongest angle.
• Build engaging hooks, narratives, examples and story flow.
• Write natural, conversational scripts for long-form and short-form videos.
• Use data, real-world examples and case studies where relevant.
• Work with Nitin Nagaich to shape expert insights into audience-friendly stories.

Preferred candidate profile

• 520 years in scriptwriting, journalism, digital media, editorial, storytelling or communications.
• Excellent research, writing and narrative skills.
• Strong editorial judgement and curiosity.
• Ability to simplify complex subjects and maintain viewer interest.
• Comfortable owning a topic from idea research story script.

Originality Requirement

Scripts must be original and human-written. No copied, plagiarised or AI-generated scripts will be accepted.

Selection: Candidates may be asked to develop a topic and submit a short original script.
