Traya is a science-backed hair and wellness brand solving hair loss through a holistic, three-science approach — combining dermatology, Ayurveda, and nutrition. As we scale both our digital presence and our offline clinic network, video has become one of our most powerful engines for education, trust, and discovery. We're looking for someone who lives and breathes YouTube to own and accelerate that engine.

About the Role

YouTube is not just a content platform for us — it's a discovery system. This role exists to make Traya win on both of YouTube's engines: search and suggested. You'll own the strategy and execution behind videos that compound over time and videos engineered to be recommended, while extending our reach into Google results and AI-driven discovery surfaces.

What You'll Do

• Own YouTube growth across Traya's channel(s) — strategy, planning, packaging, and performance
• Master the two engines of YouTube discovery — search and suggested — and build a content mix designed to win each
• Design for the metrics that drive the algorithm: click-through rate, retention, and viewer satisfaction
• Build evergreen, search-led video content that compounds, alongside content engineered for recommendations
• Leverage YouTube's role in Google search results and AI-driven discovery to extend organic reach beyond the platform
• Bring a strong point of view on packaging and storytelling — titles, thumbnails, hooks, and narrative structure — not just keyword optimisation
• Work closely with creative, brand, and performance teams to translate insights into repeatable content playbooks
• Track, analyse, and report on channel performance, turning data into sharper creative decisions

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on YouTube experience — you've grown a channel or run YouTube content and understand, from experience, why videos win or stall
• A confident grasp of YouTube SEO, packaging, and retention mechanics
• An understanding of how YouTube connects to broader search and AI-powered discovery
• Strong creative judgment paired with genuine comfort with data
• An ownership mindset and comfort working across multiple accounts or channels
• Comfort using AI tools to work faster — our team will help you level up

Good to Have

• 7+ years of experience in D2C, health, wellness, or education-led content categories
• Familiarity with tools like TubeBuddy, vidIQ, or YouTube Studio analytics at depth
• Basic understanding of video production workflows (scripting, editing collaboration)
