Yocto Migration Engineer RDK-B / RDK-E

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Yocto release and OSS package migrations.
• Upgrade recipes, layers, patches, and package dependencies.
• Resolve build, compilation, packaging, dependency, and runtime issues.
• Handle OSS version upgrades, patch conflicts, and API/ABI compatibility issues.
• Work with RDK-B / RDK-E layered architecture, including BSP/vendor, RDK, middleware, and product-specific layers.
• Build and validate migrated images on target devices.
• Work with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build systems.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Yocto, OpenEmbedded, and BitBake.
• Good knowledge of recipes, layers, BitBake tasks and image generation.
• Hands-on experience with OSS/package migration.
• Experience with RDK-B and/or RDK-E platforms.
• Strong Embedded Linux debugging skills.
• Good knowledge of C/C++ build systems.
