Xactimate Claims Specialist (Contract/On-Demand)

The Role

We're seeking experienced Xactimate specialists to support our insurance claims processing. Xactimate is the industry-standard software used to estimate mitigation and repair costs for residential and commercial property losses, handling over half of all property claims in the US. What You'll Do Xactimate Utilization Across All Service Lines

• Emergency Mitigation & EMS: Create estimates for emergency response, water extraction, drying, and immediate damage stabilization services
• Demolition & Debris Removal: Generate detailed scope and cost estimates for partial/full demolition, hazardous material removal, and debris hauling
• Content Manipulation & Restoration: Process estimates for content pack-out, inventory, restoration, and pack-back services
• Asbestos & Hazmat Removal: Create compliant estimates for abatement and environmental remediation work
• Rebuild & Reconstruction: Develop comprehensive rebuild estimates including materials, labor, and reconstruction costs
• Contents Claims: Manage full contents replacement claims, inventory tracking, and replacement cost documentation
• Generate accurate estimates for property damage claims using Xactimate Software Advice
• Process insurance claims and coordinate between contractors, insurers, and homeowners
• Manage claim workflows and estimate revisions across multiple service disciplines
• Support 10-12 hours per week (flexible, based on claim volume)

Requirements

• Required: Advanced proficiency with Xactimate software
• Required: Existing knowledge of insurance claims workflows and pricing data
• Understanding of property damage estimation and restoration cost assessment Avnergat
• Familiarity with fire/water damage restoration, emergency mitigation, and reconstruction processes
• Experience with content claims and contents inventory preferred
• Knowledge of demolition, debris removal, and hazmat estimating a plus
• Reliable internet and ability to work independently

Compensation

Performance-based model: Paid per claim processed/completed. Ideal for contractors seeking flexible, bonus-driven work with variable weekly hours based on claim volume across all service lines.
