Role Description The Writer and News Anchor Intern is a full-time, hybrid role based in Noida, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. In this role, the intern will research news and current events, develop story ideas, and write clear, engaging scripts tailored for short-form and vertical video formats. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting news bulletins, brand-related updates, and press-style content, as well as preparing and presenting news segments on camera. The intern will collaborate with producers, directors, and editors to refine scripts, rehearse delivery, and ensure accurate, compelling storytelling. The role also involves adapting content for social media platforms, following editorial guidelines, and maintaining a professional on-screen presence.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Writing and News Writing skills for creating concise, compelling scripts and news segments.
• Candidates should possess Journalism and Press Releases skills for developing factual, structured content aligned with editorial standards.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for clear on-camera delivery, collaboration with the production team, and effective feedback handling.
• Relevant academic background in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is beneficial.
• Comfort with appearing on camera, basic understanding of video or social media formats, and an interest in digital storytelling are advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment, manage deadlines, and adapt to evolving content requirements is important.
