Workshop Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Strong technical knowledge of automobiles, repair and recycling or dismantling the used vehicles processes.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, diagnostic, and body assembly.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Good knowledge of workshop planning and workflow management.
• Strong customer-handling and complaint-resolution skills.
• Understanding of workshop financials, revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Lead, Guide and handle the teams of technicians, electricians, mechanics, floor supervisors and other support staffs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in DMS/workshop management software and MS Office.
• Ensure workshop safety compliance and safety standards within work space.
• Keep the workspace well maintained and systematic.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Diploma / ITI / Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in automobile service, repair, workshop, or Bodyshop/dismanteling operations.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial position.
• Experience in a passenger vehicles segment dealership, authorized service centers, or reputed multi-brand automobile workshop preferred.
• Experience handling accidental repair and insurance claims, RTO Process registration will be an advantage.
• Local candidates only from Thane, Kalyan, Dombivali, Titwala, Mumbra or nearby location from Bhiwandi.
