Workday Consultant Learning, Talent & Performance (L3)

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Workday Consultant with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience to join our consulting practice. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for leading end-to-end implementations, optimizing configurations, and providing strategic advisory for Workday Talent Management, Performance Management, and Learning modules.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical configuration and modern HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Implementation: Lead full-lifecycle Workday deployments, overseeing architectural design, configuration, and global rollout across Learning, Talent and Performance functional areas.
• Solution Architecture: Translate complex client business requirements into scalable technical designs and process maps.
• Process Excellence: Drive continuous process optimization to improve user experience, maximize platform ROI, User adoption with zero critical downstream impacts.
• Technical Support: Manage comprehensive testing lifecycle (Unit, SIT, UAT) and provide expert-level support for high-priority technical issues.
• SaaS Release Management: Manage the Bi-Annual Update strategy by evaluating new features in preview tenants to keep client systems at the cutting edge.
• Security Management: Manage tenant security, including role-based groups and domain policies, to ensure data compliance.
• Workday Reporting: Build advanced custom reports and calculated fields to deliver data-driven, executive-level insights.
• Workday Integration: Oversee data migrations and ecosystem connectivity using EIBs, Core Connectors, and standard integration tools.

Core Technical Competencies

Talent & Performance:

• Expertise in Skills Cloud integration and AI-driven talent optimization.
• Configuration of Calibration Sessions, Check-in Conversations, and continuous feedback loops.
• Configuration and administration of Annual Goals for employees
• Manage Goal Setting, Corrective actions and PIP templates and its business processes.
• Management of Succession Plans, Talent Pools, and automated Talent Review Rules and Annual Performance events.
• Learning Management (LMS):
• Design of personalized Learning Pathways and complex Learning Campaigns.
• Management of digital content, compliance tracking, and Extended Enterprise (external learners).
• Platform Fundamentals:
• Mastery of Business Processes (BPs), Condition Rules, and Domain/BP Security Policies.
• Solid understanding of how Talent/Learning modules integrate with Core HCM, Payroll, and Recruiting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 5–8 years of dedicated experience within the Workday ecosystem.
• Consulting Mindset: Proven track record in a client-facing role, managing multiple projects with a focus on "skills-based" organizational structures.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to present technical concepts to HR stakeholders.
