Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Workday HRMS Techno-Functional Consultant to support Workday HCM implementation, configuration, integrations, security, reporting, and post-go-live operations. The role will work closely with Group HR, business process owners, implementation partners, and internal IT teams to build in-house Workday expertise and reduce dependency on external consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM and employee lifecycle processes.
• Design and modify Workday Business Processes, including approvals, routing, condition rules, validations, and notifications.
• Manage Workday security groups, role assignments, domain security policies, and Business Process security.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and scheduled reports.
• Support Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, RaaS, and SFTP/file-based interfaces.
• Monitor integration events, troubleshoot failures, analyse data-mapping issues, and coordinate resolution.
• Support Workday data migration, mass loads, data validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect analysis, and Workday release testing.
• Provide L1/L2 application support, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve configuration, reporting, security, and integration issues.
• Maintain configuration documentation, SOPs, support runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners for enhancements and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of overall enterprise applications / HR technology experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration, implementation, or production support.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end Workday implementation or major rollout.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Core HCM and Business Process configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Security, Reporting, Calculated Fields, and integrations.
• Practical exposure to EIB, Core Connectors, Workday APIs, RaaS, and SFTP interfaces.
• Experience in Workday data migration, testing, troubleshooting, and post-go-live support.
• Good understanding of XML/JSON, REST/SOAP concepts, and SSO/authentication.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Good to Have

• Workday Studio or Workday Orchestrate experience.
• Workday HCM, Security, Reporting, or Integration certification.
• Integration experience with SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Entra ID, or other enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting multi-company or multi-country Workday environments.
• Willingness to travel to DRC or other group locations when required.
