About this role
Area(s) of responsibility
We are seeking an experienced Workday Recruitment Functional Consultant with 5-8 years of overall HRIS/Workday experience and strong expertise in the Workday Recruiting module. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring Workday Recruiting, supporting integrations, managing stakeholder communications, and driving end-to-end recruitment process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the Workday Recruiting module based on business requirements.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional solutions.
- Design and implement recruiting processes including:
- Job Requisitions
- Candidate Management
- Interview Scheduling
- Offer Management
- Background Verification
- Onboarding integration
- Configure business processes, security roles, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
- Support Workday releases and perform impact assessments for new features.
- Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Prepare functional specifications and support system testing (SIT/UAT).
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support.
- Work closely with integration teams on interfaces between Workday and third-party applications.
- Create and maintain documentation, process flows, and knowledge repositories.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in HRMS/HCM applications, with at least 3+ years of hands-on Workday Recruiting experience.
- Strong functional expertise in:
- Workday Recruiting
- Candidate Lifecycle Management
- Offer Management
- Talent Acquisition Processes
- Business Process Configuration
- Security Configuration
- Reporting and Dashboards
- Experience in Workday implementations, enhancements, and support projects.
- Knowledge of integrations with onboarding, background verification, job boards, and third-party recruiting platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in Agile project environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Recruiting Certification (preferred).
- Exposure to Workday HCM, Talent Management, or Onboarding modules.
- Experience working with global recruitment processes.
- Knowledge of Workday EIB, Core Connectors, and reporting framework.
