The role This role will be responsible for the successful enablement of a standalone Ice Cream company that is geared for future success as ‘the best HR Technology team in the industry’. The role will be part of a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team led by the Ice Cream HR Technology Lead.
What you'll be responsible for Compensation System Ownership & Optimization Act as the functional and technical owner of Workday Compensation modules (Core Compensation & Advanced Compensation).
Configure and maintain compensation elements, including Compensation grades, pay ranges, and packages, Eligibility rules (via condition rules, calculation fields), and compensation plans (merit, bonus, stock, allowances where applicable).
Ensure alignment with global compensation strategies and local regulatory requirements.
Design and configure advanced compensation features such as Proration rules, Dynamic budgets and guideline calculations, Currency conversions and global compensation logic.
Optimize performance and usability of the compensation cycle (e.g., reducing cycle time, improving UX).
Partner with Rewards/CoE teams to translate policies into scalable Workday configurations.
Stakeholder Collaboration Serve as the primary liaison between technical support teams and global HR process owners.
Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
Collaborate with HR COEs, IT, and external vendors to deliver robust and future-ready HR technology.
Project & Change Management Lead HR technology initiatives including module rollouts, upgrades, and process improvements.
Support change management and training efforts to ensure smooth adoption.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for enhancement.
Annual Compensation Cycle Execution (Critical Requirement).
Lead the end-to-end execution of the annual compensation review cycle in Workday.
Cycle setup (compensation review process configuration), eligibility population and validation, budget configuration and allocation logic. Launch, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the cycle.
Own key Workday components such as: Manager self-service configuration and experience, Business Process Framework (BP) for compensation reviews, Compensation Plans & Guidelines, Compensation Review Templates.
Act as the technical SME during live cycles, resolving issues in real-time with HR, HRBPs, and Rewards teams.
Perform cycle simulations, testing, and reconciliations before launch.
Ensure data accuracy and audit readiness throughout the cycle.
Proven experience personally owning and running at least one full annual compensation cycle in Workday (not just supporting).
Integration, Reporting & Audit Ensure accurate integration of compensation data with:
Payroll
External reporting systems
We're looking for someone who Has a minimum of 5+ years in HR with at least 5 years in a workday deployment role. Has owned the compensation cycle end-to-end.
Proven track record of managing global compensation processes across multiple countries, acting as the primary system owner during compensation cycles.
Deep expertise in Workday Compensation (Core + Advanced) with hands-on configuration experience.
Thinks end-to-end and takes ownership of results
Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving organisation
