Workday Financials Consultant (GL / FDM / Projects / Integration)

Position Overview: We are seeking a Workday Financials professional with 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience across General Ledger (GL), Financial Data Model (FDM), and Projects, along with integrations exposure. This role involves production support, post-go-live stabilization, and financial data validation in a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on functional support and maintenance across Workday FDM, General Ledger, and Projects.

• Validate migrated accounting structures, worktags, ledgers, journals, allocations, project costing, and project billing data.

• Facilitate period-end close processes, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and project accounting workflows.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve production defects and ticket escalations within defined SLAs.

• Execute regression testing, release validation for Workday biannual updates, data fixes, technical documentation, and cross-functional knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications Skills:

• 3 to 4 years of proven hands-on Workday Financials implementation or post-go-live production support experience.

• Core proficiency in Workday FDM design, GL business processes, journal entries, and project lifecycle management.

• Solid understanding of Workday Integrations interfacing with accounting and billing data.

• Strong analytical, issue resolution, and reconciliation capabilities.
