Workday Data Consultant (India)

India (Remote) Full-Time Employee Hours: 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM IST (2 AM- 10 AM CT)

We are looking for a Workday Data Consultant (experience level will determine job title) who is passionate about working in a collaborative environment and has the ambition to be a driver for success.

 Requirements (What We’re Looking For): Workday HCM, FIN, or Payroll Certification (Required)

1+ years experience working with Workday data conversion, data analysis, or ETL processes (Required)

Practical experience handling data loads for HCM, Financials or Payroll (Required)

Solid understanding of how to build, populate, and upload Workday inbound EIBs. (Required)

Fluent in English (Required)

Experience developing and maintaining Workday reports (Required)

Experience mapping, cleansing, and validating data from legacy systems for Workday (Required)

Proven experience managing end-to-end Workday data migration projects (Required)

Experience mentoring and training consultants or team members (Required)

Prior Workday configuration or functional experience (Preferred)

Passion for exceptional customer service and customer collaboration ​

Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

Strong communication skills, both written and oral

Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with clients and co-workers in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust

Good problem solver with ability to consider alternative and diverse perspectives customer expectations ​

Recommended internet bandwidth of 20Mbps

Responsibilities (What You’ll Do): Prepare, format, and load data into Workday using standard migration tools, including EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders) and iLoads.

Work with project leads and client templates to map legacy source data into Workday data collection workbooks.

Run validation cycles to identify, investigate, and fix data load errors, formatting issues, and reconciliation discrepancies.

Assist in generating data reconciliation reports to prove data accuracy to the client and project team before go-live.

Collaborate closely with functional consultants (HCM, Payroll, and Financials) to ensure data is aligned with the configured tenant settings.
