Workday Benefits & Absence Architect

Role & responsibilities

• Workday Benefits & Absence architecture/configuration
• Eligibility rules for benefit groups, benefit plans, leave plans, time off plans
• Benefit plan configuration: medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life & disability insurance, 401(k)
• Absence plan design (state & federal compliance)
• Compliance reporting: ACA, COBRA, FMLA
• Benefits/Absence-to-Payroll integration touchpoints and testing
• Custom reporting (standard, advanced, composite, matrix)
• Regression testing post-Workday releases
• Workday Benefits & Absence Certifications (preferred)

Preferred candidate profile

• Workday Absence Certification
• Workday Benefits Certification
• Experience with time tracking integration
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science or related degree

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of Workday Benefits & Absence configuration experience
• In depth knowledge of the touchpoints between Benefits, Absence, HCM, and Payroll
• Understanding of FMLA and State Leave programs
