Workday Adaptive Planning - Senior Associate

About the Role:

We are looking for a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Associate to support and enhance enterprise financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. This role plays a critical part in implementing the Workday Adaptive Planning solution while working closely with Finance and HR teams.

The ideal candidate will combine strong FP&A knowledge with hands-on system expertise and a problem-solving mindset to drive accurate planning, reporting, and insights.

Requirements:

Experience: 4+ Years

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar planning tools.
• Full lifecycle implementation experience on 2 or more projects.
• Workday Adaptive Planning certification.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent finance degree.
• Implementation experience on Financial Planning and/or Workforce Planning.
• Proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Finance and HR).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A detail-oriented and analytical mindset.

Preferred:

• Functional FP&A knowledge and implementation/deployment experience of EPM systems.
• Strategic Workforce Planning experience.
• Advanced degree in the area of specialization.

Key Responsibilities:

System Configuration

• Configure and implement the Workday Adaptive Planning system to meet business needs.
• Implement scalable, driver-based planning and forecasting solutions.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to gather requirements
• Partner with stakeholders to streamline financial planning and forecasting processes.

Reporting & Dashboards

• Create, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics in Workday Adaptive Planning to support leadership and strategic decision-making.

Data Accuracy & Integration

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the planning system.

System Upgrades

• Stay updated on the latest Workday Adaptive Planning features and recommend enhancements.
• Perform end-to-end testing to ensure platform stability and accuracy.

User Training & Support

• Conduct training sessions for administrators and/or end-users to ensure effective system utilization and improve adoption.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to the system in collaboration with internal teams and Workday support.

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain detailed documentation covering system configurations, data flows, and business processes.
