Role Description The WordPress Developer role at GOUNICREW PVT. LTD. is a full-time, on-site position based in Jabalpur. The role involves developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, including themes and plugins, to meet client requirements and project specifications. The developer will collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to implement responsive, user-friendly, and SEO-aware web solutions. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting and debugging issues, optimizing site performance, ensuring security best practices, and integrating third-party tools or APIs as needed. The role also includes participating in project planning, providing technical recommendations, and maintaining clear documentation for ongoing support and updates.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong WordPress development skills, including experience with themes, plugins, and custom post types.
• Candidates should possess front-end skills such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
• Candidates should possess back-end and integration skills, including PHP, MySQL, and basic understanding of APIs and web services.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with SEO principles, website performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility practices.
• Candidates should possess experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
• A relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
• Prior experience in a web development agency or working on multiple client projects will be considered an advantage.
