Job Summary
We are looking for a WordPress Developer with 2+ years of experience who can develop and customize WordPress websites using custom code. The candidate should have good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress backend development. The role involves building responsive websites, customizing themes, developing custom features, and maintaining website performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintainWordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.(without paid theme/plugin)
• ConvertUI/UX designs (Figma/PSD) into responsive WordPress websites.
• Customize existingWordPress themes and pluginsbased on project requirements.
• Createcustom WordPress themes from scratch using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Work withWordPress hooks, filters, and template hierarchy.
• Develop and modifycustom plugins when required.
• Handlebackend tasks such as database queries, API integrations, and form processing.
• Optimize websites forperformance, SEO, and security.
• Troubleshoot and fixWordPress issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
• Ensure websites aremobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge ofHTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience withresponsive design and mobile-first development
• Understanding ofFlexbox, Grid, and CSS animations
• Ability to convertFigma/PSD designs into pixel-perfect websites
• Experience incustom theme development
• Knowledge ofWordPress template hierarchy
• Experience withcustom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields
• Understanding ofWordPress hooks and filters
• Experience working withpage builders (Elementor, WPBakery).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge ofPHP
• Understanding of MySQL database structure and WordPress file hierarchy
• Ability to create or customize WordPress plugins
• Understanding of security best practices

Experience

• 2+ years of experiencein WordPress development.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / related field(preferred but not mandatory).

Additional Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Git or version control
• Experience working with WooCommerce customization
• Familiarity with SEO best practices
