Role Description This is a full-time, on-site WordPress Developer role based in Surat. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins, as well as implementing new features and functionality. Daily tasks include converting design mockups into responsive pages, optimizing website performance, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves collaborating with designers and other developers, maintaining secure and up-to-date websites, and supporting integration with third-party tools and services.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with PHP, MySQL, and working with WordPress hooks, filters, and the template hierarchy.
• Knowledge of website performance optimization, SEO best practices, and web security fundamentals.
• Ability to debug and resolve technical issues, and to work with browser developer tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work on-site within a team environment in Surat.
• Relevant education or certifications in computer science, web development, or a related field are beneficial.
