Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive

WordPress Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance our WordPress-based websites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with plugin management, security best practices, and custom development. You will play a key role in ensuring our web infrastructure is secure, up-to-date, and optimized for performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities Plugin Management:

• Regularly update and test WordPress plugins and themes.
• Evaluate new plugins for functionality, compatibility, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plugin conflicts or issues.

Security & Maintenance

• Implement and monitor WordPress security best practices.
• Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Monitor site performance, uptime, and vulnerabilities.
• Manage user roles and permissions securely.

Development & Customization

• Customize themes and plugins to meet business needs.
• Develop custom plugins or functionality as required.
• Collaborate with designers and content teams to implement new features.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.

Technical Support

• Provide technical support and training to internal teams.
• Document processes, configurations, and updates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a WordPress Administrator or Developer.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with security tools like Wordfence, Sucuri, or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization.
• Experience with staging environments and deployment workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce plugins.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and headless WordPress setups.
• Experience with hosting platforms like WP Engine, Kinsta, or SiteGround.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• WordPress or web development certifications are a plus.
