Wiring Harness Design

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage wiring harness architecture, electrical schematics, circuit design, and cable routing.
• Create and modify 2D/3D electrical harness designs using Siemens Capital Logic and Capital XC (Capital-H).
• Perform cable routing and packaging using PTC Creo, ensuring proper clearance, bend radius, clipping, and serviceability.
• Prepare and maintain wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, harness drawings, and related engineering documentation.
• Integrate electrical harnesses with vehicle systems such as HV/LV batteries, inverter, motor, charger, DC-DC converter, BMS, ECU, and other vehicle electronics.
• Work on HV and LV harness design, including connector selection, terminals, splices, shielding, grounding, and protection.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in EV/Automotive Electrical & Wiring Harness Design.
• Hands-on experience with Capital Logic and Capital XC (Capital-H).
• Hands-on experience with PTC Creo cabling for 3D routing.
• Good understanding of HV/LV electrical architecture and automotive wiring harnesses.
• Knowledge of connectors, terminals, fuses, relays, shielding, grounding, cable protection, and routing.
• Ability to interpret and create schematics, wiring diagrams, harness drawings, and BOMs.
• Knowledge of EV components and electrical architecture is preferred.
