Windows based Application Engineer

Role Description & Responsibilities:

• Application Deployment & Lifecycle: Managing application installations, configuration, and upgrades DevOps way mainly on Windows OS
• Automation & Scripting: Automate and standardize configurations across environments
• Pipeline Integration: Use Git and Automation Ops Pipelines to automate the deployment of automations from development to production.
• Version Control: Integrate with external source control systems to manage automation code.
• Disaster Recovery & Backup: Ensuring application data integrity and implementing backup strategies for Windows systems
• Ensuring Compliance and patching vulnerabilities
• L3 Support for all end users
• DR for applications
• Monitoring using grafana and prometheus

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience managing application infrastructure using DevOps tools and practices
• Hands on experience of Windows Servers, Netapps, Backup Restore procedures. Should have good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on Windows and possibly also on Linux systems.
• Quick understanding of the IT infrastructure, various process & policies and tools and getting aligned.
• Cloud Experience would be an added advantage
• Ability to write documentation in a clear and concise way.
• Good Team Player and willing to work in a team
• Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills is mandatory
