Window Server Administrator

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Administration & Maintenance: Perform installation, configuration, patching, and administration of Windows Servers (Physical/Virtual).
• Virtualization: Manage and support Hyper-V infrastructure and large-scale VMware environments.
• Automation: Develop PowerShell scripts to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts.
• Infrastructure Services: Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP.
• Security & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex server performance issues, analyze root causes, and manage remote security patching.
• Backup & DR: Implement backup/restore policies and maintain disaster recovery plans.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on Windows Server administration.
• Scripting: Strong hands-on experience on PowerShell.
• Virtualization: Experience with Hyper-V and VMWare.
• Network/Security: Knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, and security protocols.
• Processes: Familiarity with ITIL framework and Change Management.
