Windchill Developer

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Hands-on 5-8 years of Windchill customization experience
• Experience in:
• Windchill Data Utilities
• Form Validators
• Soft Typing (Type & Attribute Manager)
• Loader mechanism
• ACLs
• Workflow & LifeCycle configuration with customization
• Strong understanding of Windchill JavaDoc, APIs, and supported methods
• Expertise in Core Java with focus on:
• Performance optimization
• Scalability & reliability
• Collections (Linked List, Arrays, etc.)
• Experience with JDBC connections and writing query specs
• Knowledge of OData layer and building interfaces using Windchill REST APIs
• Experience in handling database transactional aspects (MS SQL / Oracle)
• Knowledge of Windchill environment setup, installation & maintenance
• Exposure to cluster-based deployments (advanced configuration) preferred
• Working knowledge of Windows & Linux environments
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile methodology
• Familiarity with DevOps tools GIT, JIRA (mandatory)
• Experience in working with PTC Technical Support
• Good communication skills (verbal & written)
