Role Summary:
Responsible for PTC Windchill PLM implementations, customization, and migration projects. Works with stakeholders and engineering teams on data migration, system integration, and deployment of Windchill solutions. Supports digital transformation and product lifecycle management optimization.
What Youll Do:
- Develop, customize, and configure PTC Windchill applications
- Design and implement workflows, lifecycles, business rules, and custom reports
- Create and maintain Windchill customizations using Java, JSP, and Windchill APIs
- Participate in migration and upgrade projects
- Analyze legacy PLM/PDM data and perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading
- Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot migration issues
- Support design and implementation of Windchill architecture solutions
- Integrate Windchill with enterprise applications
- Provide L2/L3 support for Windchill applications and resolve technical issues
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- 3-5 years hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PLM
- Experience in at least one Windchill implementation, upgrade, or migration project
- Windchill customization and configuration skills
- Java / J2EE, Windchill APIs, and data migration/data mapping experience
- Workflow and lifecycle management
- SQL / Oracle Database
- XML and Web Services
- Strong understanding of PLM processes
Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Windchill PDMLink, Windchill ProjectLink
- ThingWorx Integration, InfoEngine
- REST/SOAP Services
- CAD Integrations (Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Jenkins, Git, DevOps tools
- JavaScript and JSP
- Experience with large-scale PLM migration or transformation projects
- Understanding of engineering and manufacturing business processes
- PTC Windchill Certification
- Experience in Windchill Version Upgrade projects
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with enterprise integrations (SAP, Oracle ERP, Teamcenter migration)
