Wi-Fi Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Wi-Fi Developer with strong expertise in C/C++, Embedded Linux, and IEEE 802.11 wireless networking standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Wi-Fi driver/firmware development, debugging, chipset integration, and embedded system performance optimization.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in C/C++ development and debugging in multi-process and multithreaded environments.
• Mandatory experience in the Wi-Fi domain with a strong understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards, including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux, kernel space, user space, and IPC mechanisms.
• Experience in Wi-Fi driver development, firmware development, and hardware integration.
• Understanding of Wi-Fi chipsets and solutions from Qualcomm, MediaTek, or Realtek.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4, and IPv6.
• Experience with debugging and memory profiling tools such as GDB, ASAN, KSAN, and Valgrind.
• Understanding of 32-bit/64-bit SoC architectures and embedded toolchains.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• TR-069, TR-098, TR-181, USP, and OMCI management protocols.
• Wi-Fi SoC integration and vendor coordination.
• L2/L3 routing, multicast, and IPTV protocols.
• GPON technologies.
• Linux/RTOS-based embedded development and performance optimization.

Education:
Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.

Important Requirements:

• Wi-Fi domain experience is mandatory along with C/C++ and Linux.
• Candidates must be available to work from Chennai.
• Candidates with a notice period of less than one month are preferred.
