Role Description The Wellness Nurse at Prvnt plays a key role in delivering proactive, preventive care to clients. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting health assessments, reviewing diagnostic and wearable data, and monitoring clients progress against personalized care plans. The Wellness Nurse provides education and counseling on lifestyle changes, holistic therapies, and adherence to recommended interventions. The role also involves collaborating closely with physicians and other clinical professionals, documenting care in appropriate systems, coordinating follow-up visits, and supporting a seamless client experience in line with Prvnt's prevention-focused model.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing qualification and registration (e.g., B.Sc Nursing or equivalent), with clinical experience in wellness, preventive care, primary care, or a related field.
• Strong skills in health assessment, vital signs monitoring, and interpreting basic diagnostic and lab results to support preventive care plans.
• Ability to educate and counsel clients on lifestyle modification, nutrition, exercise, stress management, and adherence to holistic interventions.
• Comfort working with digital health platforms, electronic medical records, and wearable or remote monitoring devices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered, empathetic approach and the ability to work with diverse populations.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in documentation, follow-up, and care coordination.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to an innovative, fast-evolving healthcare environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and follow shift or extended hours as required for continuous care.
• Experience or interest in preventive medicine, integrative or holistic care, and technology-enabled healthcare is highly beneficial.
