Role: Welding Operator

Location: Sriperumbudur, Chennai

Experience: 3 to 7 years

Education: Diploma only (Mechanical / Production / Welding Technology or equivalent)

Shift: Rotational shifts

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Welding Operator to perform MIG welding, fabricate components to drawing specifications, and maintain quality and safety standards on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on components and assemblies as per drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and diagrams.
• Measure dimensions accurately using measuring tape and gauges.
• Carry out grinding and cutting operations as required for fabrication and finishing.
• Inspect welded joints and finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Handle materials safely, including lifting weights

Required Skills

• MIG welding
• Dimension measuring
• Use of measuring tools: measuring tape and gauges
• Understanding of AutoCAD drawings and diagrams
• Grinding and cutting operations
• Ability to lift weights

Eligibility

• Qualification: Diploma candidates only
• Experience: 3 to 7 years
