Welding Technician

Job Summary


Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on structural steel components
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications
• Prepare metal surfaces and set up welding equipment
• Inspect welded joints for quality and compliance with standards
• Maintain welding equipment and follow safety procedures

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Welding Technology or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in structural welding
• Certification in relevant welding processes
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Physical fitness for site work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in bridge or heavy structural fabrication
• AWS or equivalent welding certifications
