Welding Specialist - Engineer/Sr. Engineer/Asst. Manager

>Develop, review and maintain WPS, PQR and WPQ/WQT documentation.
>Monitor welding activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures, drawings and applicable codes.
>Provide technical support for SMAW, GTAW, GMAW/FCAW and SAW processes.
>Ensure correct selection and control of welding consumables, parameters and preheat/PWHT requirements.
>Coordinate welder qualification and performance monitoring.
>Analyze welding defects/rejections and implement corrective & preventive actions.
>Coordinate with Production, Quality, NDT and Engineering teams for smooth execution of welding activities.

>Ensure compliance with applicable standards/codes such as ASME Section IX, ASME B31.1/B31.3 and relevant project specifications.
>Support customer, internal and external audits related to welding activities.
>Drive improvement in welding quality, productivity and reduction of repair/rejection rates.
