Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

a) Inspection & Surveillance Conduct visual inspection at all stages: b) Code Compliance Ensure compliance with: • CSA W59 • CSA W47.1 • CSA W178.2 • Interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications. c) Welding Procedure & Qualification Verification . d) Documentation & Reporting Maintain and control: e) NDT Coordination Coordinate and verify NDT activities: f) Material & Consumable Control g) Audit & Compliance

Qualifications & Experience

• CWB Welding Inspector Certification (Level 1 / 2 / 3 as applicable)

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering

• 312 years of experience in welding inspection

• NDT Level II certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Skills Required • Strong knowledge of welding processes and defects • Thorough understanding of CSA welding standards • Ability to interpret drawings and welding symbols • Practical shop-floor inspection capability • Documentation and reporting discipline
