About this role
Industry: Heavy Engineering / Fabrication
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor welding activities for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and Heavy Fabrication Equipment.
- Prepare/review WPS, PQR & WPQ as per applicable ASME codes and project specifications.
- Monitor welder qualification, welding parameters, consumables and weld quality.
- Coordinate NDT, PWHT, inspection and stage-wise quality activities.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, QAP/ITP, welding procedures and applicable codes.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Design, Planning and Project teams for welding-related activities.
- Handle welding-related technical issues, documentation and inspection requirements.
