Welder

Role & responsibilities:

* FCAW / GMAW / GTAW welding processes

* Butt, groove, fillet and groove + fillet welding joints

* 100% UT / RT weld requirements

* WPS, PQR & WPQ reading and application

* Welding symbols and blueprint/drawing reading

* DPT and basic NDT knowledge

* Welding machine setting and parameter control

* Knowledge of SS, MS, carbon content and other materials

* Welding equipment handling, maintenance and safety practices

* Knowledge of ASME, IBR, API and ASNT standards

* Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 6 Sigma, Kaizen and Kanban

* Manufacturing process flow, tack welding and sequence planning

* Focus on Right First Time, quality, productivity and on-time delivery
