Role Description:

The Wedding Specialist Manager is responsible for generating and converting wedding business for the hotel, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination and execution of wedding events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new wedding leads and achieve assigned revenue targets.
• Handle wedding enquiries, proposals, negotiations, and conversions.
• Build strong relationships with wedding planners, clients, and event partners.
• Coordinate with F&B, Banquets, Kitchen, Front Office, and other departments for seamless event execution.
• Conduct site inspections and present wedding packages and hotel facilities.
• Ensure high guest satisfaction and drive repeat/referral business.
• Monitor sales pipeline, bookings, payments, and event details.
• Identify opportunities to upsell rooms, F&B, and other hotel services.

Qualifications

• Experience in wedding planning, event management, or hospitality operations, with a strong focus on client service and on-site event coordination.
• Skills in stakeholder and vendor management, including coordinating with internal departments and external partners to deliver seamless events.
• Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and contract review, with attention to detail in timelines, guest lists, and event logistics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present concepts, negotiate solutions, and manage expectations with diverse clients.
• Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously.
• Comfort with basic office and event-planning software; experience with hotel property management or sales systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management, event management, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a hotel or luxury wedding venue environment and familiarity with local Dehradun market and cultural wedding practices is beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by wedding and event schedules.
