Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer role based in Gurugram. The Web Developer will build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces that showcase immersive property content and support smooth user journeys across browsing, shortlisting, and investing. Day-to-day tasks include developing front-end and back-end features, integrating APIs and data sources, optimizing performance, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The role involves collaborating with designers, product managers, and content teams to implement new features, refine UI/UX, and troubleshoot issues in production environments. The Web Developer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvements to Villow’s web architecture and security practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Web Development and Programming skills, with experience in modern frameworks and languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, or similar).
- Front-End Development and Web Design skills, including responsive layout, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Back-End Web Development experience, such as building APIs, working with databases, and managing server-side logic.
- Understanding of performance optimization, security best practices, and SEO-friendly implementation for web applications.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to analyze requirements, solve technical problems, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in real estate, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms is an advantage.
